Adult Workshop: Countertop Herbs 101 Feb 22nd 2-4 pm

Discover the joy of growing your own fresh herbs with our Counter Top Herbs 101 workshop! This hands-on class is designed for adults who want to transform their kitchen into a mini herb garden. Learn the essentials of herb cultivation, including selecting the right herbs, potting techniques, and tips for maintaining healthy plants. Plus create your own mini- herb box to take home and get started growing right away. You’ll also explore the culinary and medicinal uses of various herbs to enhance your cooking and well-being. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a complete novice, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to bring a touch of green to your countertop. All materials and herbs will be provided—just bring your passion for plants!

Audience Target: This event is perfect for adults on your own, couples, or small groups. No prior experience is necessary. Children must be at least 10 years of age.

Format: An interactive art and gardening workshop enables participants to create a countertop herb container.

Fee Includes: 

  • All the supplies for each person to create and decorate a countertop herb planter.
  • Guided instruction from an experienced teacher
  • Light refreshments and snacks
  • Admission to the Garden’s Thursday night hours

Beer and wine may be purchased in the Gift Shop for adults ages 21+.

Location: Please enter through the Gift Shop and meet in the Classroom.

Fee: $40 per person, $35 for Garden members

Preregistration is required.
