DESCRIPTION:Preregistration is required.  \nDescription: Discover the joy of growing your own fresh herbs with our Countertop Herb Planters workshop! This hands-on class is designed for adults who want to transform their kitchen into a mini herb garden. Learn the essentials of herb cultivation\, including selecting the right herbs\, potting techniques\, and tips for maintaining healthy plants. Plus create your own mini- herb box to take home and get started growing right away. You’ll also explore the culinary and medicinal uses of various herbs to enhance your cooking and well-being. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a complete novice\, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to bring a touch of green to your countertop. All materials and herbs will be provided—just bring your passion for plants! \nAudience Target: This event is perfect for adults on your own\, couples\, or small groups. No prior experience is necessary. Children must be at least 10 years of age. \nFormat: An interactive art and gardening workshop enables participants to create a countertop herb container. \nFee Includes:  \n\nAll the supplies for each person to create and decorate a countertop herb planter.\nGuided instruction from an experienced teacher\nLight refreshments and snacks\nAdmission to the Garden\n\nBeer and wine may be purchased in the Gift Shop for adults ages 21+. \nLocation: Please enter through the Gift Shop and meet in the Classroom. \nFee: $40 per person\, $35 for Garden members \nPreregistration is required.
