Presenter: Education Manager, Barbara Goldentyer has been at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden for 6 years. She has a Master’s in Environmental Studies and she has always enjoyed exploring nature. She got the idea for this class from her mom’s many attempts to grow leftover food. For a while, her parents had a small forest of potted avocado plants that had to be moved in and out of the living room depending on the weather.
