SUMMARY:Family Program: Waxed Leaf Garland
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate fall together with a little science\, a little exploring\, and a handmade project to take home. \nIn this family workshop\, participants will learn what causes leaves to change color\, head into the Garden to collect beautiful fall leaves\, and preserve them with wax before turning them into seasonal garlands. \nEach family will create 2–3 waxed leaf garlands to take home — a simple way to bring a little bit of the Garden into your fall decor. \nDesigned for families to learn and create together\, this workshop is a chance to slow down\, notice the colors of the season\, and discover what you can make using materials found in nature. \nDate: Saturday\, November 14\, 2026\nTime: 10 a.m.–12 p.m.\nLocation: Children’s Pavilion\nAges: Families\nFee: $20 per non-member family | $15 per member family \nLimited Availability.
