How do animals survive the chilly winter months? In this hands-on science class, homeschoolers will discover the amazing ways animals adapt to cold weather—from hibernation and migration to building cozy shelters. Students will explore the garden, examine real animal artifacts, and participate in fun activity stations with mini-science experiments.

Ages 6+ This is a drop-off class.

What to Know: Please check in with Visitor Services and then meet in the classroom. Come dressed to explore outside.

Fee: $17 per child, $12 for members
