DESCRIPTION:Wrap up the homeschool year with a hands-on celebration of science\, nature\, and discovery. \nFamilies are invited to spend the day exploring the Garden through guided investigations\, simple experiments\, and creative\, nature-based activities designed to engage curious minds. \nThis year’s event includes:\n🌌 The Earth & Beyond Mobile Planetarium from Morehead Planetarium & Science Center (limited seating; sign up upon arrival)🐾 Live animal encounters from the Museum of Life and Science💎 Geode breaking (while supplies last)🎨 Make-your-own crafts like Chia pets and handheld drums🔬 Interactive science demonstrations🌿 Check-out backpacks for self-guided exploration🚜 Garden tours at 10:30 AM\, 12:00 PM\, and 1:00 PM🎉 Bounce houses and more \nThis event is ideal for homeschool students ages 5–11 (Kindergarten through 5th grade)\, but all are welcome. \nEach participating child is just $5\, plus Garden admission for adults and siblings.
