Homeschool: Endangered Animals

What does it mean for an animal to be endangered—and how can we help? In this thought-provoking session, students will learn about NC species at risk of extinction and the importance of conservation. Through engaging discussion, outdoor exploration, and a hands-on science project, homeschoolers will gain a deeper understanding of biodiversity and the role we play in protecting Earth’s creatures.

Ages 6+ This is a drop-off class.

What to Know: Please check in with Visitor Services and then meet in the classroom. Come dressed to explore outside.

Fee: $17 per child, $12 for members
