SUMMARY:Homeschool: Kids in the Kitchen
DESCRIPTION:Young chefs will get hands-on in the kitchen as they learn basic cooking and baking skills while making something delicious of their own. \nStudents will practice skills such as measuring\, safe knife use\, following a recipe\, and preparing foods both with and without heat. Each session is designed specifically for its age group\, giving students the chance to learn and create alongside kids at a similar developmental level. \nAges 6–8: 1:30–2:30 p.m.  https://shop.capefearbg.org/SelectEvent.aspx?eventID=1000224\nAges 9–12: 2:30–3:30 p.m.  https://shop.capefearbg.org/SelectEvent.aspx?eventID=1000223 \nPlease register your child for the session that matches their age. \nPlease meet in the classroom. Come dressed for hands-on learning and possible outdoor exploration. \nFor Parents & Caregivers\nThis is a drop-off class\, and parents or caregivers do not stay in the classroom during the program. \nYou are welcome to remain at the Garden while your child participates. Garden admission applies for non-members who would like to explore the grounds or spend time in Garden spaces during the class. Garden members may enjoy the Garden as part of their membership. \nPrice of Tickets- (Member vs General Admission)   – $5 per child
