Cape Fear Botanical Garden is open to guests 360 days a year for self-guided exploration of our 80 acres. Wander along paved pathways and shaded dirt trails, enjoy vibrant seasonal blooms, and discover specialty areas like the Heritage Garden, Children’s Garden, and River Trail.
Cape Fear Botanical Garden is located at 536 N. Eastern Blvd, Fayetteville NC 28301
Monday – Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday: 12 pm – 5 pm
Extended Evening Hours (March – November)
On Thursdays, the Garden stays open until 7 PM to make the most of longer daylight hours.
Last Daily Admission: 45 minutes before closing.

The Garden is closed on July 4, Thanksgiving Day, December 24–25, and New Year’s Day.

Groups of 25 or more paying visitors receive a discounted rate when they schedule a Garden visit in advance:
To accommodate all of our guests, we request that groups of 10 or more children, or 25 or more adults, pre-schedule their visit via email to Barbara Goldentyer, Environmental Education Manager or call (910) 486-0221 x 43.
In partnership with the Museums for All initiative, Cape Fear Botanical Garden offers discounted admission for qualifying families. Special event discounts do not apply. Up to four people can use one EBT card to receive the discounted rate. Through this program, CFBG has established “A Garden for All” and will offer discounted admission for qualifying families who present a photo ID and EBT card. “A Garden for All” has been made possible by the Cornelia “Neill” Bullock Wilkins Charitable Endowment Fund – Seniors and Community Grants Fund of Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc. Please note that P-EBT or Pandemic EBT does not qualify. The EBT cardholder MUST be present to qualify. Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the Garden.
$5 per person + tax. Children under 5 enter for FREE.
