DESCRIPTION:Get ready to roar and stomp through time! In Dinosaur Stomp\, preschoolers will explore the prehistoric world through imaginative play\, stories\, songs\, and hands-on activities. From T. rex to Triceratops\, little learners will develop early science skills\, motor coordination\, and a love for discovery while having a dino-mite time! \nThere are two consecutive one-hour sessions of this class. The same class is offered twice to accommodate more kids. \nDesigned for ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. Siblings are welcome to accompany if included on the registration. \nPreschool Program Benefits: \n\nInstill an early love for nature\nDevelop enthusiasm for science and art\nPromote early language and literacy skills\n\nLocation: Please check in with the Gift Shop on arrival. Preschool may meet in our indoor Classroom or outdoor Children’s Garden Pavilion. Come dressed for the weather outside! \nFees: $17 per child\, $10 for CFBG members. Fee includes preschool program activities plus CFBG admission for one adult and the child. DESCRIPTION:Every Nature Tales session features an engaging\, themed storytime led by Cumberland County librarians and a child-friendly craft project selected and prepared by CFBG environmental educators. Storytimes are enhanced with engaging songs\, puppets\, and movement breaks. Themed crafts allow children to connect with nature and create a keepsake of their Garden experience. \nThere are two consecutive one-hour sessions of this class offered on two different days. The same class is available multiple times to accommodate more kids. \nTarget Audience: Designed for ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. DESCRIPTION:Join Cape Fear Botanical Garden Environmental Educators at East Regional Library as they explore the smell\, feel\, and taste of fresh herbs\, learn about gardening with an interactive story time\, and plant your own mini-herb greenhouse. Families will learn and garden together. Each herb greenhouse box will allow you to start growing four different seeds used in common recipes. \nHeld in partnership with Cumberland County Libraries.
