No experience needed. Sip some wine\, and unwind\, while you let the beauty of the natural world spark your creativity. All materials will be provided \nTarget Audience: Teens and adults\, ages 13+ that are interested in learning and implementing painting techniques. No prior painting experience is necessary. \nFormat: Step by step instruction. This hands-on class is designed for adults who want to transform their kitchen into a mini herb garden. Learn the essentials of herb cultivation\, including selecting the right herbs\, potting techniques\, and tips for maintaining healthy plants. Plus create your own mini- herb box to take home and get started growing right away. You’ll also explore the culinary and medicinal uses of various herbs to enhance your cooking and well-being. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a complete novice\, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to bring a touch of green to your countertop. All materials and herbs will be provided—just bring your passion for plants! \nAudience Target: This event is perfect for adults on your own\, couples\, or small groups. No prior experience is necessary. DESCRIPTION:Please preregister here.  \nThis Saturday\, the Children’s Pavilion will transform into a maker space where builders of all ages can let their imaginations run wild. \nBuilding Stations Include: \nCardboard Creations – use cut-safe\, child-friendly tools to sculpt cardboard and create everything from forts to wearable costumes \nBuilding Block Explosion – Build bridges\, castles\, pirate ships and more with gears\, straws\, blocks\, wheels\, and connectors. \nBrick Lab – Use classic building bricks to create a mini-world. \nMarble Run – Create a marble run with a whizzing ramps and epic chain reactions. \nClay Creatures – Build a monster\, a new friend\, or crazy-mixed up creature with air-dry clay \nFamily Programs \nOur family programs are designed for individuals of all ages to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature. Our Saturday sessions feature engaging activities such as tadpole catching\, campfire building\, and flower planting\, providing a joyful and educational experience for everyone. \nWho Should Attend: All ages are welcome. Building stations are best for ages 4+ as some stations contain small size bricks. \nFees Include: \n– 2 Hours of Free Building Time \n– Admission to the Garden for up to 5 family members \n– An air-dry clay creation for each child to take home \nLocation: Please check in with the Gift Shop and then meet at the Children’s Pavilion. This energetic class will have children racing to learn about motion. \nTarget Audience: Ages 2-5 with a parent or guardian. Siblings are welcome to accompany\, but must be included on the registration form. \nWhat to Know? Come dressed to explore outside. There are two back-to-back one-hour sessions of this class. The same class is offered twice to accommodate more kids. \nPreschool Benefits: \n\nInstill an early love for nature\nDevelop enthusiasm for science and art\nPromote early language and literacy skills\n\nLocation: Please check in with the Gift Shop for class location. DESCRIPTION:Register Here \nDay Camp: Tooth and Claw (Ages 8-12) \nCampers will explore the world of predators\, from sharp teeth to mighty claws\, learning about the animals that rule the food chain. Through games\, experiments\, and hands-on activities\, they’ll discover what makes these creatures so powerful and why they’re essential to their ecosystems. \nDay Camps: $80/camper ($60 for CFBG members) \nWhat to Wear?\nPlease send children dressed for the weather\, with sunscreen and bug spray pre-applied and close-toed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals\, please). Dress to get messy exploring outdoors\, creating art\, and doing science. \nWhat to Bring? \n\nAll camps include a snack provided by the Garden with a fresh fruit or vegetable. Campers may bring their own snack if they prefer.\nPlease bring a reusable water bottle for day camps.\nIf the camp is from 9 am-3pm\, there will be a lunch break.
