Come spend the day learning\, playing\, and exploring at Homeschool Day at the Garden—a hands-on\, curiosity-fueled celebration of science\, nature\, and creativity. \nKids can meet live animals with the Museum of Life and Science\, dive into pond dipping for tadpoles and critters\, explore a building play zone\, and try their hand at framed flower art and other nature-based crafts. With exciting activity booths from Fascinate U Children’s Museum and the Museum of the Cape Fear\, plus a special guest appearance and signing by local children’s author Simonette Hibbert\, this day is packed with meaningful discovery. \nFamilies will also enjoy: \n\n\nScience stations & interactive demos \n\n\nA native wildflower seed giveaway (for those who complete their activity passport!) \n\n\nFood trucks\, sweet treat vendors\, and Lucia’s café for lunch and snacks \n\n\nThis event is ideal for homeschool students ages 5–11 (Kindergarten through 5th grade)\, but all are welcome.
