Celebrate fall together with a little science, a little exploring, and a handmade project to take home.
In this family workshop, participants will learn what causes leaves to change color, head into the Garden to collect beautiful fall leaves, and preserve them with wax before turning them into seasonal garlands.
Each family will create 2–3 waxed leaf garlands to take home — a simple way to bring a little bit of the Garden into your fall decor.
Designed for families to learn and create together, this workshop is a chance to slow down, notice the colors of the season, and discover what you can make using materials found in nature.
