Discover the joy of painting the world around you in this relaxed and welcoming landscape painting class, designed for adults ages 55 and up. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, or returning to a favorite hobby, this class offers a fun and supportive environment to explore your creativity.
Participants will create their paintings from both outdoor observation, and reference photographs. We will be learning how to capture color, light, atmosphere, and simple composition, all while working at a comfortable pace.
Participants will be able to choose their own subject matter, and receive instruction pertaining to their particular needs. Each session will follow a general theme, but you are always welcome to follow your own inspiration.

Target Audience : Adults ages 55 and up. No prior experience is necessary.
About the Instructor: Sara-Jane has over 10 years experience teaching both painting and drawing classes. She has a deeply rooted belief that everyone has the ability to paint, if given the right tools! She has taught in New York, Connecticut, Virginia, and now – Fayetteville North Carolina.
Fee: $40 per session (all materials included)
