Kids take over the Garden for a day of creativity, discovery, movement, and messy hands-on fun.
Pondamania presented by Fayetteville PWC transforms Cape Fear Botanical Garden into a giant interactive celebration of art and nature, where children are invited to explore, create, build, play, and imagine their way across North Carolina.
Inspired by the books Anywhere Artist and Nature Is an Artist, this year’s event encourages kids to see creativity everywhere — in textures, colors, patterns, movement, sunlight, water, plants, and the natural world around them.
Throughout the Garden, themed activity zones will highlight the beauty and diversity of North Carolina, from the coast to the Sandhills to the mountains. Families can move from one region to the next through hands-on activities, artistic experiences, and playful exploration designed especially for kids.
Expect a day filled with:
🎨 Creative art stations
🌊 Beach-inspired play
🐸 Pond dipping and nature discovery
🦴 Aurora Fossil Museum activities
📚 Story times
🐐 Farm animals
📸 Interactive photo spots
🎶 Movement, music, exploration, and more
This is the kind of event where kids are encouraged to touch, create, explore, and see the world a little differently.
Perfect for children of all ages — come dressed to play.
